Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index experienced a day of mixed results, marked by notable gains in several major stocks. Among the top performers, HD Hyundai Electric surged by 10,000 to reach 500,000, while POSCO FUTURE M saw an increase of 6,800, bringing its price to 158,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other significant gainers included Doosan Bobcat, which rose by 3,200 to close at 57,200, and HYUNDAIGLOVIS, which climbed by 2,800 to 171,900. Notably, HyundaiMtr advanced by 2,000 to settle at 222,000, and HD HYUNDAI increased by 2,600 to 131,000.
In contrast, some stocks faced declines. LIG Nex1 fell by 3,000 to 521,000, and MiwonComcl decreased by 2,600, concluding at 145,800. APR also saw a drop of 2,000, ending the day at 226,000, while ORION and CHONGKUNDANG experienced slight declines of 200 and 100, respectively.
Stocks that remained unchanged included SAMSUNG BIOLOGICS at 1,030,000, FOOSUNG at 6,050, and TaekwangInd at 904,000. Meanwhile, moderate gains were observed in stocks such as MIWON SC, which increased by 1,900 to 142,900, and LOTTE Fine Chem, which rose by 1,650 to 42,250.
