S. Korean Bond Yield Movements Highlight Stability Across Various Terms

Seoul: S. Korean bond yields remained largely stable on September 17, 2025, with minor fluctuations observed across different terms. The 1-year Treasury Bond (TB) yield held steady at 2.266%, showing no change from the previous session.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 2-year TB yield experienced a slight decrease of 0.6 basis points, settling at 2.388% compared to 2.394% in the prior session. In contrast, the 3-year TB yield saw a marginal increase of 0.1 basis points, rising to 2.418% from 2.417%.

The 10-year TB yield decreased by 1.7 basis points, moving from 2.804% to 2.787%. Meanwhile, the 2-year Monetary Stabilization Bond (MSB) yield fell by 0.3 basis points, recording 2.380%, down from 2.383%.

Corporate bond yields also showed slight shifts, with the 3-year Corporate Bond (CB) rated AA- decreasing by 0.4 basis points to 2.881% from 2.885%. The 91-day Certificate of Deposit (CD) yield increased by 1.0 basis point, rising to 2.570% from 2.560%.
