Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a day of mixed performance as several major companies experienced declines, while some managed to record gains. The closing prices on the index highlighted a range of movements across various sectors.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Daewoong recorded a decrease of 400, closing at 23,750. Similarly, SamyangFood saw a significant drop of 31,000, ending at 1,554,000. POSCO INTERNATIONAL also faced a decline, closing at 49,050 with a decrease of 300. CJ CheilJedang's shares fell by 1,500, reaching 237,500. TaekwangInd's shares decreased by 16,000, closing at 890,000.
On the other hand, Youngone Corp managed to see an increase of 2,300, closing at 64,300. CSWIND remained steady at 44,550 with no change. Meritz Financial faced a decline of 2,800, closing at 119,300, while SD Biosensor's shares rose by 610, ending at 10,840.
KOLON IND experienced a decrease of 550, closing at 38,150. KAL's shares fell by 500, reaching 23,100. LG Corp. saw a decline of 1,700, ending at 75,300. KG Mobility dropped by 15, closing at 3,315. However, POSCO FUTURE M recorded an increase of 1,700, finishing at 141,300.
LOTTE Fine Chem and HYUNDAI STEEL both saw an increase of 500, closing at 49,400 and 37,500, respectively. Shinsegae experienced a significant rise of 10,600, ending at 205,500. Conversely, LOTTE's shares dropped by 950, closing at 31,500, while Nongshim saw a decrease of 4,500, ending at 477,000.
SGBC's shares fell by 800, closing at 63,400. GCH Corp experienced an increase of 1,160, ending at 16,750. COSMOCHEM saw a decrease of 360, closing at 16,420. POSCO Holdings' shares dropped by 1,500, reaching 283,000.
DB INSURANCE recorded a rise of 1,900, closing at 140,800. SamsungElec's shares fell by 800, ending at 79,700. NHIS experienced a decrease of 200, closing at 20,600, while DongwonInd's shares dropped by 1,000, reaching 46,500.
GC Corp saw a significant rise of 7,200, closing at 139,000. GS E and C experienced a decrease of 280, ending at 18,900. SAMSUNG SDI CO.,LTD. faced a decline of 6,000, closing at 203,000. KPIC's shares fell by 1,500, reaching 114,000.
MIRAE ASSET SEC recorded a decrease of 550, closing at 22,050. SKC saw a decline of 1,800, ending at 104,200. GS Retail experienced a drop of 130, closing at 16,610. OTOKI's shares fell by 4,000, reaching 425,500.
