Seoul: South Korea and Ukraine held vice ministerial-level talks to explore ways to strengthen economic cooperation and support Ukraine's post-war reconstruction efforts, Seoul's industry ministry said. First Vice Industry Minister Moon Shin-hak met with Maryna Denysiuk, Ukraine's deputy minister for the development of communities and territories, in Seoul.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Moon emphasized the potential for bilateral cooperation, noting that South Korea could play a key role in plant construction, infrastructure development, and the supply of electric power equipment, among other areas. He also highlighted that Ukraine, a leading global grain producer, could benefit from Seoul's agricultural machinery equipped with artificial intelligence.
In response, Denysiuk expressed appreciation for South Korea's interest and support in Ukraine, stating that the country's developmental experience could serve as a valuable reference in Ukraine's reconstruction and future growth.
