New york: First lady Kim Hea Kyung attended a reception hosted by Melania Trump, wife of U.S. President Donald Trump, for spouses of world leaders on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly in New York on Tuesday, the presidential office said. Kim, who accompanied President Lee Jae Myung on his trip to New York, participated in the event under the theme "Fostering the Future Together," as noted by vice presidential spokesperson Jeon Eun-soo in a written briefing.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Kim had the opportunity to engage with the spouses of leaders from Vietnam, Australia, Canada, Turkey, Lithuania, Slovenia, and other countries.
