Weather Forecast for South Korea’s Major Cities: Sunny Skies Predominate with Rain in the South

Seoul: The weather forecast for South Korea's 12 major cities on Friday indicates predominantly sunny conditions with notable rain in the southern regions. Temperatures are expected to vary, showcasing a mix of sunny and rainy weather.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul will experience sunny weather with a high of 28°C and a low of 18°C, alongside no chance of rain. Similarly, Incheon and Suwon will both enjoy sunny skies, with temperatures reaching highs of 26°C and 27°C respectively, and no precipitation expected. Cheongju will also see clear conditions with temperatures between 28°C and 19°C.

Daejeon is predicted to have a sunny day with a slight 10% chance of rain, with temperatures ranging between 27°C and 18°C. Chuncheon and Gangneung will join the list of cities expecting sunshine, with temperatures at 27°C. However, Gangneung will have a slightly warmer low at 19°C compared to Chuncheon's 15°C.

In the southern regions, conditions are expected to be less stable. Jeonju will see cloudy weather with a 20% possibility of rain, and temperatures between 28°C and 21°C. Gwangju and Jeju are forecasted to experience rain with a 60% chance, with Gwangju having temperatures between 29°C and 22°C, while Jeju will be slightly warmer with a high of 29°C and a low of 25°C.

Daegu is anticipated to have sunny weather with a 20% chance of rain, and temperatures will range from 29°C to 21°C. Meanwhile, Busan will see cloudy skies with a similar 20% chance of rain, with temperatures between 29°C and 23°C.
