KOSPI 200 Index Sees Mixed Movements in Closing Prices

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mix of gains and losses as it closed with notable movements in various sectors. POSCO International saw its share price increase by 500 to close at 49,500, while CJ CheilJedang experienced a decrease of 2,000, ending at 231,500.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Samyang Food's stock decreased by 32,000, closing at 1,397,000. In contrast, LG Electronics showed an upward trend, increasing by 2,000 to reach 83,000. Similarly, LG Chem experienced a significant rise, closing at 296,500 with an increase of 14,500.

Hyundai Rotem's stock fell by 8,000 to 202,000, while Daewoong Pharm remained stable at 133,900. Among other notable changes, LIG Nex1 dropped by 18,000 to 447,000, and Hyundai Glovis rose by 200 to reach 158,900.

In the financial sector, Shinhan Group's shares decreased by 2,000, closing at 68,400, whereas Hana Financial Group saw a decline of 900, ending at 84,400. Meanwhile, Hanwha Life's stock increased by 80 to 3,165. Youngpoong recorded a rise of 2,750, closing at 48,550.

Hyundai Engineering and Construction witnessed a decrease of 400, closing at 57,600. SK hynix fell by 3,500 to 411,500, while Kia Corporation experienced an increase of 1,400, closing at 102,500. SK Innovation's stock rose by 2,200 to 106,200, and Poongsan's shares increased by 4,900, closing at 127,200.

The report also highlighted KB Financial Group's decline of 700, ending at 110,900, and Youngone Corporation's decrease of 1,100 to 60,600. Additionally, Hyundai Motor's stock rose by 4,500, closing at 223,000, while TCC Steel saw an increase of 850, ending at 16,880.
