Seoul: U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to arrive in South Korea on Oct. 29 and stay until Oct. 30 for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings, National Security Adviser Wi Sung-lac announced.
According to Yonhap News Agency, President Lee Jae Myung is anticipated to hold summit talks with Trump during the visit. Wi Sung-lac informed reporters that a Korea-U.S. summit is expected to occur around the time of Trump's visit. Additionally, if a U.S.-China summit is organized, it might also take place during his stay in South Korea.
Furthermore, if confirmed, Trump is expected to participate in ministerial and business leaders' meetings scheduled ahead of the APEC summit, which is set for Oct. 31 to Nov. 1.
