KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Movement with Key Stocks Closing Up and Down

Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed varied movements in its closing prices, with several major companies experiencing both gains and declines in their stock values. Among the notable changes, SamyangFood saw a decrease of 44,000, closing at 1,326,000. Meanwhile, POSCO INTERNATIONAL's shares rose by 1,200, ending at 52,900.

According to Yonhap News Agency, CJ CheilJedang experienced a slight drop, closing at 230,000, down by 500. TaekwangInd, on the other hand, showed an increase in its closing price, gaining 5,000 to reach 838,000. KAL and LG Corp. both saw decreases, with their prices down by 200 and 500, respectively.

DB INSURANCE closed at 130,000, experiencing a decline of 4,200. SLCORP, Yuhan, and NHIS all faced decreases, closing at 36,400, 116,700, and 19,850, respectively. DongwonInd also experienced a drop, finishing at 42,200, down by 450.

On the positive side, SamsungElec marked an increase, closing at 97,900, up by 200. LS recorded a gain of 4,000, ending at 187,800. HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES saw a rise, with a closing price of 509,000, up by 1,000. GC Corp, however, fell by 1,200, closing at 128,200.

Other companies such as GS E and C, MIRAE ASSET SEC, and GS Retail experienced declines, while SKC and DN AUTOMOTIVE showed upward movements. LGCHEM notably increased by 27,000, closing at 339,000. SamsungElecMech also saw a rise, finishing at 207,000, up by 5,500.

The movements in the KOSPI 200 index reflect the dynamic nature of the stock market, with a mix of gains and losses among various companies.
