S. Korean Bond Yields Experience Decline Across Multiple Maturities

Seoul: South Korean bond yields saw a decline across several maturities on October 22, 2025, with various treasury bonds experiencing a drop in basis points.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-year treasury bond yield decreased by 1.3 basis points, settling at 2.308% compared to the previous session's 2.321%. The 2-year treasury bond yield fell by 2.0 basis points to 2.521% from 2.541%. Similarly, the 3-year treasury bond yield declined by 2.8 basis points, reaching 2.572% from the previous 2.600%.

The 10-year treasury bond experienced a reduction of 3.5 basis points, moving to 2.869% from 2.904%. Additionally, the 2-year monetary stabilization bond (MSB) saw a decrease of 1.8 basis points, landing at 2.506% from 2.524%.

For corporate bonds, the 3-year corporate bond rated AA- dropped by 2.5 basis points, now at 2.999% from the previous rate of 3.024%. Meanwhile, the 91-day certificate of deposit (CD) remained unchanged at 2.540%.
