Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mixed set of results at the close of trading, with notable movements in various major companies. LG Energy Solution and SK hynix emerged as significant gainers.

According to Yonhap News Agency, LG Energy Solution saw a substantial increase, closing at 492,000, marking an upward movement of 44,500. SK hynix also experienced a significant rise, with its price reaching 510,000, up by 31,500. On the other hand, companies like Hyundai Rotem and COSMAX faced declines. Hyundai Rotem closed at 234,500, down by 7,000, while COSMAX ended at 204,000, a decrease of 1,500.

Other notable performances included HYOSUNG HEAVY, which climbed to 1,903,000, an increase of 52,000, and POSCO Holdings, which rose to 325,500, gaining 17,500. Among the declines, LGELECTRONICS saw a decrease, closing at 88,000, down by 2,200.

The trading day highlighted varied performances across different sectors, with some companies experiencing notable gains, while others faced declines.
