Gyeongju: Hyundai Motor Group announced Tuesday the unveiling of its hydrogen-powered Nexo crossover vehicle at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit, emphasizing its role in advancing future mobility technologies. The event is taking place at the Gyeongju Arts Center, located in the host city of Gyeongju, around 275 kilometers southeast of Seoul.
According to Yonhap News Agency, this marks the debut of the all-new Nexo, the first complete redesign of Hyundai's fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) in seven years. The Nexo represents Hyundai's commitment to hydrogen technology and its vision for the future of mobility. Additionally, the vehicle will be displayed at K-Business Square at Gyeongju Expo Park, accessible to tourists and visitors until November 22.
A Hyundai Motor Group official stated, "We plan to showcase our strategies for eco-friendly energy and mobility by introducing key hydrogen and future mobility technologies to APEC member leaders and global leaders."
