Seoul: Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea's leading carmaker, announced plans to enhance its collaboration with Nvidia Corp. to propel innovations in artificial intelligence (AI)-based future mobility solutions. The initiative will be driven by a new AI infrastructure utilizing Nvidia's latest Blackwell chips.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the two companies have agreed to co-develop AI capabilities focused on mobility solutions, next-generation smart factories, and on-device semiconductor technologies. This collaboration aims to bolster Hyundai Motor Group's future competitiveness.
The partnership will involve the joint development, validation, and deployment of integrated AI models utilizing 50,000 Nvidia Blackwell graphics processing units (GPUs). Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung emphasized that this deepened collaboration signifies a crucial step in advancing AI-powered mobility and smart factories, contributing to the establishment of a robust AI ecosystem in Korea.
