Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) experienced slight changes in longer-term rates as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. today. The 1-week and 1-month rates remained stable at 2.50% and 2.52% respectively.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 2-month rate increased to 2.55% from the previous session's 2.53%. The 3-month rate also saw a rise, moving from 2.57% to 2.59%. In the 6-month term, the rate slightly increased to 2.64% from 2.63%. The most significant change was noted in the 12-month rate, which climbed from 2.64% to 2.68%.
These shifts in KORIBOR rates reflect minor adjustments in the longer-term lending markets, with short-term rates holding steady. The changes provide insight into the current lending environment and economic conditions within the country.
