‘Golden’ Drops to No. 2 on British Official Chart

London: “Golden,” the smash hit single from the original soundtrack of the Netflix animated film “Kpop Demon Hunters,” has fallen to No. 2 on the British Official Singles Chart Top 100.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the chart released on Friday (British time) showed that “Golden,” performed by Korean American artists Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami as the fictional girl group Huntr/x, ceded the top position to Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia.”

“Golden” had previously held the No. 1 spot for 10 non-consecutive weeks and has been present on the chart for 21 consecutive weeks since its debut at No. 93 in June.

Other songs from the “Kpop Demon Hunters” soundtrack also made an impact on the chart, with “How It’s Done” ranking 10th and “What It Sounds Like” at 14th. Additionally, “APT.,” a collaborative single by BLACKPINK’s Rose and global pop icon Bruno Mars, secured the 86th position, marking its 56th consecutive week on the chart. K-pop girl group Le Sserafim’s new release “Spaghetti” entered the chart at No. 95.
