London: From the first-ever Alien series to a new season of Netflix’s Addams Family spin-off and a true-crime drama about Amanda Knox, this August presents an exciting lineup of television premieres.
According to BBC, among the anticipated releases is "Chief of War," a historical epic co-created by Jason Momoa, set in 18th-century Hawaii. Momoa, known for his role in Aquaman, plays Kaiana, a warrior seeking to unify the islands against colonists. The series is praised for its authenticity, featuring a predominantly Polynesian cast, and Momoa’s dedication to learning the Hawaiian language.
