Gyeongju: The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit, the official sideline event of the APEC leaders' summit, concluded its three-day conference on Friday, providing insights into global business leaders' perspectives on the future of the global economy and crucial industries such as artificial intelligence (AI) and energy.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the summit, themed "Bridge, Business, Beyond," attracted approximately 1,700 global business figures to Gyeongju, South Korea. Notable attendees included Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang, Johnson and Johnson CEO Joaquin Duato, Amazon Web Services (AWS) CEO Matt Garman, and Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser.
Representing Korea, prominent figures such as Chey Tae-won, SK Group chief and Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) chair; Samsung Electronics Co. Chairman Lee Jae-yong; Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chair Euisun Chung; and LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo participated in the event. They explored opportunities to enhance their global business relationships and engagements.
