Goyang: The state arms procurement agency has announced plans to operate a joint promotion booth alongside affiliated organizations during the upcoming international defense exhibition. The Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition is scheduled to take place from October 20 to 24 at KINTEX in Goyang, just northwest of Seoul.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) will collaborate with four of its affiliated agencies, including the Agency for Defense Development, to highlight the development of weapons systems and the success of arms exports. The exhibition will feature government-to-government meetings, seminars on international arms cooperation, and consultations regarding arms exports from Monday to Thursday.

In addition to industry-focused events, the arms agency will host public programs on Friday. These include a book concert on rifles and an informational session about South Korea’s military satellite initiative, known as the “425 project.”
