Seoul: BGF Retail Co. on Tuesday reported its 2024 net income of 195.2 billion won (US$134.4 million), down 0.3 percent from a year earlier.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company also disclosed that its operating profit for the year was 251.6 billion won, marking a 0.6 percent decline from the previous year. Despite the slight drop in net income and operating profit, BGF Retail experienced a growth in annual revenue, which rose by 6.2 percent to reach 8.69 trillion won.
The financial results indicate a mixed performance for BGF Retail, reflecting a balance between the decline in profits and an increase in revenue. The company's financial strategy and market conditions in the upcoming period will be crucial in determining future outcomes.
