BTS’ J-Hope and Ive to Headline Lollapalooza Berlin in July

Berlin: J-Hope of K-pop supergroup BTS and the girl group Ive are set to headline the Lollapalooza Berlin music festival in July, as announced by their respective agencies on Thursday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Lollapalooza is a significant music festival that originated in the United States in 1991 and has expanded globally, with events taking place in countries such as France and Germany. This upcoming performance will mark J-Hope's second appearance at Lollapalooza; he made history in July 2022 as the first K-pop artist to headline Lollapalooza Chicago.

Ive, who previously performed at Lollapalooza Chicago in August 2024, will be making its second appearance at the festival during the Berlin event. The K-pop sextet is also scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza Paris on July 20, as confirmed by its agency, Starship Entertainment.

The lineup for this year's Lollapalooza Berlin, set for July 12-13 at Olympiastadion and Olympiapark Berlin, will also feature performances by Justin Timberlake, Benson Boone, and Gracie Abrams.

Before his Berlin appearance, J-Hope will embark on his first world tour as a solo artist, starting with three concerts at the KSPO Dome in Seoul from February 28 to March 2. The tour will include stops in 15 cities, such as New York, Chicago, Mexico City, Manila, and Saitama in Japan.
