Seoul: Cheil Worldwide Inc. on Friday reported its second-quarter net profit of 51.2 billion won (US$37.2 million), marking a 21.6 percent decrease from the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company's operating profit for the April-June period was 92.1 billion won, reflecting a 4.4 percent increase from the previous year. Revenue for the quarter rose by 2.7 percent to reach 1.11 trillion won.
The operating profit was consistent with the average estimate provided by a survey conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data division of Yonhap News Agency. However, the estimate for net profit was not available.
