Chuncheon: A teenage woman riding an e-scooter was killed Tuesday after being hit by a military vehicle in the eastern city of Chuncheon, military officials and sources said. The incident occurred at a crossroad in Chuncheon, located approximately 85 kilometers northeast of Seoul, shortly before noon.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the woman was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital following the collision. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries. The Army has confirmed that both police and military investigative authorities are actively investigating the precise circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
