Seoul: Dongwon Industries Co. on Friday reported its second-quarter net income of 88 billion won (US$63.3 million), marking a substantial increase of 92.9 percent from the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company revealed in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the quarter reached 133.6 billion won, a notable rise from 84.8 billion won in the previous year. Furthermore, the company's sales experienced a growth of 10.1 percent, totaling 2.35 trillion won.
This impressive financial performance reflects Dongwon Industries' strategic initiatives and market positioning, contributing to its robust profitability amid dynamic market conditions.
