Doosan Q2 net profit up 24.2 pct to 216.3 bln won

Doosan Co. on Friday reported its second-quarter net income of 216.3 billion won (US$156 million), up 24.2 percent from a year earlier.The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 336.7 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 512 billion won a year ago.
