DP’s Lee to Pay Tribute to Late President Roh This Week

Gimhae: Democratic Party (DP) candidate Lee Jae-myung will pay tribute later this week to a memorial marking the 16th anniversary of former President Roh Moo-hyun's death, officials said Wednesday. Lee, along with other politicians who served under previous liberal administrations, is expected to visit the southeastern rural village of Bongha in Gimhae, approximately 310 kilometers southeast of Seoul, on Friday to attend the memorial.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Lee's planned visit to the memorial comes ahead of the June 3 presidential election. In recent days, Lee has concentrated his campaign efforts in the greater Seoul area, starting from Monday. Additionally, he is expected to visit Jeju Island on Thursday as part of his campaign itinerary.
