Seoul: A former military commander involved in President Yoon Suk Yeol's attempted martial law has confirmed that the individuals President Yoon ordered to be removed from the National Assembly were lawmakers, not agents. This revelation was made by Lt. Gen. Kwak Jong-keun, who served as the chief of the Army Special Warfare Command at the time.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Lt. Gen. Kwak Jong-keun provided this information while testifying as a witness during the sixth formal hearing of President Yoon's impeachment trial at the Constitutional Court. The testimony sheds light on President Yoon's actions during the controversial martial law bid, which has been a focal point of the impeachment proceedings.
