Seoul: The finance ministry announced plans to introduce a new program aimed at helping public officials write Korean-language reports more efficiently. This initiative is set to streamline the report-writing process for ministry staff by providing standardized internal templates commonly used for materials such as press releases and parliamentary briefings.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the program will include preformatted styles for graphs and tables, along with a collection of frequently used special characters. This effort is part of the ministry's broader strategy to enhance work efficiency by reducing the time spent on document formatting.
The ministry has been incorporating digital tools, including artificial intelligence, to improve administrative operations. In February, it became the first government agency to launch an AI-powered platform called AI Hub, designed to assist with information retrieval and draft writing.
