Seoul: Foreign ministers from the Group of Seven (G7) countries, along with South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand, have issued a joint statement condemning the deployment of North Korean troops to Russia in support of its conflict in Ukraine. The statement represents a unified stance against the growing military cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the G7 countries, which include the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Canada, Japan, and Italy, along with the high representative of the European Union and the three other nations, expressed their strong opposition to this development. The ministers denounced the increased military ties, particularly criticizing Russia’s acquisition of North Korean ballistic missiles.
