‘Golden’ from ‘Demon Hunters’ Tops Billboard Hot 100 for 7th Week


New york: “Golden,” a track from the animated U.S. film “KPop Demon Hunters,” has topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the seventh week.



According to Yonhap News Agency, Billboard announced in a preview of its upcoming main singles chart that “Golden” has retained its No. 1 position this week, marking its seventh consecutive week at the top. The song originally debuted at No. 81 in July and has impressively remained on the chart for 14 consecutive weeks, consistently holding the No. 1 spot for the past six weeks.



The Hot 100 chart ranks the most popular songs in the United States across all genres, based on a combination of streaming, radio airplay, and sales data. For the week of September 19-25, “Golden” earned 33.8 million streams, an increase of 5 percent, and garnered 33.9 million radio airplay audience impressions, up 11 percent, along with 8,000 copies sold, reflecting a 2 percent increase.



In addition to the success of “Golden,” the “KPop Demon Hunters” soundtrack boasts two more songs in the top five positions. “Soda Pop” claimed the No. 3 spot, while “Your Idol” followed closely at No. 5.
