GS Holdings on Wednesday reported its second-quarter net profit of 275.4 billion won (US$199.8 million), up 16.6 percent from a year earlier.The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 798.1 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 711.9 billion won a year ago. Revenue rose 1 percent to 6.2 trillion won.The earnings fell behind market expectations.
