SEOUL, GS Holdings on Wednesday reported its fourth-quarter net income of 126.3 billion won (US$94.5 million), down 46.9 percent from a year earlier.
Operating income for the October-December period was 695.3 billion won, down 22.5 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Revenue fell 7.7 percent to 6.55 trillion won.
The earnings fell short of market expectations. The average estimate of net profit by analysts stood at 276.9 billion won, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
