Seoul: Hanmi Pharm Co. on Thursday reported its third-quarter net income of 45.4 billion won (US$31.8 million), marking an increase of 29.9 percent from the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating income for the July-September quarter rose by 8 percent year-on-year to 55.1 billion won. Additionally, the company's revenue saw a marginal increase of 0.1 percent, reaching 362.3 billion won.
The reported earnings surpassed market expectations, where analysts had anticipated a net profit of 40.4 billion won, based on a survey conducted by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
