Hanmi Semiconductor Q2 operating profit up 396 pct to 55.4 bln won

Hanmi Semiconductor Co. on Friday estimated its second-quarter operating profit at 55.4 billion won (US$40 million), up 396 percent from a year earlier.Sales increased 151.6 percent to 123.5 billion won. The data for net profit was not available.The operating profit was 33.5 percent higher than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.The company will release its final earnings report later.Source: Yonhap News Agency
