Seoul: Hanon Systems on Wednesday reported its third-quarter net profit of 55.3 billion won (US$38.5 million), swinging from a loss of 19.4 billion won a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 95.3 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 93.7 billion won a year ago. Sales rose 8.2 percent to 2.7 trillion won.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the financial turnaround marks a significant recovery for Hanon Systems, which had faced challenges in the previous year.
