Seoul: HD Hyundai Marine Solution Co., the ship repair unit of South Korea's shipbuilding giant HD Hyundai, on Thursday reported its second-quarter net income of 53 billion won (US$38.8 million), marking a decline of 6.5 percent from the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that it achieved an operating profit of 83 billion won for the quarter, up from 71 billion won in the previous year. Additionally, the company's revenue experienced a 6.8 percent increase, reaching 467.7 billion won.
