Heavy Rain Expected in Seoul and Surrounding Areas Amid Sunny Skies in Southern Cities

Seoul: Heavy rain is forecasted for Seoul and its surrounding areas on Saturday, while southern cities in South Korea will experience sunny conditions.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Seoul will see temperatures ranging from a high of 31°C to a low of 26°C, with a 60% chance of heavy rain. Incheon and Suwon will also experience rain, with temperatures reaching up to 30°C and 31°C, respectively, and a 30% chance of precipitation.

In contrast, cities like Cheongju, Daejeon, and Jeonju are expected to enjoy sunny weather, with Cheongju and Daejeon both having a 60% chance of clear skies and temperatures climbing up to 34°C and 33°C. Jeonju will see a slightly lower chance of rain, at 20%.

Chuncheon and Gangneung are also bracing for heavy rain, with forecasts indicating a 60% likelihood of precipitation. Chuncheon will have temperatures between 32°C and 24°C, while Gangneung will experience a high of 33°C and a low of 27°C.

In the south, Gwangju and Jeju are expected to have sunny weather with temperatures peaking at 33°C. Both cities have a 60% chance of clear conditions. Meanwhile, Daegu and Busan will enjoy sunny skies and no rain forecast, with Daegu experiencing the highest temperature of 35°C.
