Seoul: HS Hyosung Advanced on Tuesday reported a first-quarter net income of 10.1 billion won (US$7 million), reflecting a decrease of 61.7 percent compared to the same period last year.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing that its operating profit for the quarter was 49.1 billion won, down from 64.1 billion won a year ago. Despite the decline in net income and operating profit, HS Hyosung Advanced experienced a 2 percent increase in revenue, reaching 853.6 billion won for the quarter.
