Hyosung TNC Corp. on Friday reported its second-quarter net income of 51.8 billion won (US$37.3 million), up 161.4 percent from a year earlier.Operating income for the April-June period was 84.6 billion won, up 31.2 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Sales rose 2.8 percent to 1.98 trillion won.The earnings exceeded market expectations.
