Hyundai Mobis to Showcase China-Focused Automotive Tech at Auto Shanghai 2025

Shanghai: Hyundai Mobis Co. announced its plans to unveil a range of new automotive technologies specifically designed for the Chinese market at the upcoming Auto Shanghai 2025. The event, which is one of the largest auto trade shows in China, will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, with Hyundai Mobis setting up a 300-square-meter booth to present its innovations starting next Wednesday.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyundai Mobis, the auto parts division of South Korea's Hyundai Motor Group, is set to display eight advanced equipment prototypes at the biennial trade show. These prototypes will be complemented by newly developed technologies from the company's research centers based in China, where Hyundai Mobis operates two research and development hubs.

The technology highlights for this year's showcase include an augmented-reality heads-up display, capable of projecting a 70-inch virtual image onto a car's windshield, and a state-of-the-art sound system designed to deliver an immersive, theater-like audio experience. These advancements underscore Hyundai Mobis's commitment to tailoring its innovations to meet the unique demands of the Chinese automotive market.

Hyundai Mobis has intensified its promotional activities in China, aiming to attract both local automakers and international clients operating within the country. The company has set an ambitious target of securing US$200 million in orders from the Chinese market this year, reflecting its strategic focus on expanding its footprint in one of the world's largest automotive markets.
