Hyundai Motor Debuts Face-Lifted Nexo Hydrogen SUV at Seoul Mobility Show

Goyang: Hyundai Motor Co. on Thursday unveiled a fully redesigned version of its Nexo hydrogen fuel cell sport utility vehicle (SUV) for the first time at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show. The model was showcased at a media event for the biennial motor show held at KINTEX in Goyang, northwest of Seoul. This marks the first complete redesign of Hyundai Motor's hydrogen-powered SUV since its initial introduction in 2018.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyundai Motor has set up a 2,600-square-meter exhibition booth with a focus on eco-friendly vehicles at the event. The automaker plans to showcase 18 vehicles across 10 different models at the trade show, which officially opens on Friday. In addition to the Nexo, the company also revealed refreshed designs of its Ioniq 6 and Ioniq 6 N models.

Kia Corp., a part of Hyundai Motor Group, introduced the PV5, the company's first purpose-built vehicle (PBV) that utilizes the group's dedicated PBV platform named E-GMP.S. This marks the first time the PV5 is being displayed in South Korea, following its global debut in February in Spain.

Furthermore, Genesis, Hyundai Motor Group's independent luxury brand, presented the X Gran Coupe Concept and the X Gran Convertible Concept for the first time. These concepts, derived from Genesis' flagship model, the G90, aim to establish the brand's future position as an emotional luxury brand through distinct typologies, according to the automaker.
