Seoul: The KOSPI 200 saw a mix of gains and declines in its latest trading session, with notable movements among leading companies. Hyundai Rotem and LIG Nex1 experienced significant drops, while KIH and Misto Holdings showed gains.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hyundai Rotem closed at 193,100, a decrease of 6,700, and LIG Nex1 fell by 39,000 to close at 591,000. On the other hand, KIH saw an increase of 2,900 to reach 151,500, and Misto Holdings rose by 300 to 36,900.
Other companies experiencing declines included HYUNDAIDEPTST, which dropped 1,200 to 77,000, and KDHC, which decreased by 1,000 to 92,700. GS also saw a decline of 200, closing at 51,600, while HYUNDAIGLOVIS fell by 700 to 140,300. HANAFINANCIALGR experienced a drop of 700, closing at 91,200.
In contrast, companies like GKL and KOLON IND reported gains. GKL rose by 340 to a closing price of 17,340, and KOLON IND increased by 350, reaching 44,400. Among the financial groups, BNK Financial Group remained stable at 15,420, while iM Financial Group went up by 30 to 14,760.
The trading session reflected a varied performance across sectors, with companies like SK Innovation, Poongsan, and KBFinancialGroup experiencing declines, while entities such as SD Biosensor and SamsungHvyInd witnessed gains. Overall, the session highlighted the dynamic nature of the KOSPI 200 index.
