JOHOR POLICE URGE ROAD USERS TO ABIDE BY TRAFFIC RULES AT BSI, KSAB

The police have advised road users, especially foreign drivers using the entry and exit routes in Johor, to abide by the traffic rules which have been enforced in this country.

Johor police chief Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said they are also urged to always be courteous when driving, control their emotions, be patient with the situation on the road and not raise provocations that could endanger themselves or others.

“Today, the main entry point into the country from Singapore was congested at the Sultan Iskandar Building (BSI) and Sultan Abu Bakar (KSAB) Complex due to an increase in the number of travellers from the republic.

“Johor police have taken proactive measures to ensure smooth traffic flow at the premises involved,” he said in a statement today.

Among other things, he said those jumping queue were issued summonses and told to turn back to ensure smooth traffic flow at BSI and KSAB.

Meanwhile, Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, in his Facebook post thanked the police personnel on duty who have helped ease traffic flow in both directions.
