Seoul: The KG Mobility Corp. announced on Monday that it will begin accepting preorders for its new Musso electric vehicle (EV) this week, ahead of its official launch next month. The Musso EV marks the company's first foray into the electric pickup truck market.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the Musso EV is designed to merge sport utility vehicle (SUV) features with the practicality of a pickup truck. This makes it a versatile option for both city driving and outdoor activities. The vehicle offers a spacious cabin that matches the size of a midsize SUV and is powered by an 80.6 kilowatt-hours lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery, allowing for a driving range of 401 kilometers per charge.
KG Mobility has also introduced a system in the Musso EV that autonomously checks battery conditions every 10 minutes when parked. Additionally, the vehicle includes an advanced safety management feature that monitors the battery's voltage and temperature during the charging process.
