Korea Interbank Offered Rates Remain Steady Across Short-Term Durations

Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) reported minimal changes in their interest rates across various terms. As released by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information division of Yonhap News Agency, the rates posted at 11:00 a.m. displayed stability in the shorter-term durations.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the KORIBOR rates for 1-week, 1-month, 2-month, and 3-month terms remained unchanged at 2.50% compared to the previous session. The 6-month term saw a slight increase, moving from 2.54% to 2.55%. Meanwhile, the 12-month term rose marginally from 2.53% to 2.54%.

The consistent rates across the shorter durations indicate a period of stability in the Korean interbank lending market. The minor adjustments in the 6-month and 12-month terms suggest a cautious approach in anticipation of potential market shifts.
