Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) have remained steady across all terms as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. today.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the rates for different terms including 1-week, 1-month, 2-month, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month have all held steady compared to the previous session. The rate for the 1-week term remains at 2.75%, while the 1-month rate is unchanged at 2.80%. Similarly, the 2-month term holds at 2.83%, and the 3-month term stays at 2.87%. The 6-month and 12-month rates are likewise steady at 2.86% and 2.85% respectively.
These stable rates indicate a consistency in the interbank lending environment, providing a predictable financial landscape for market participants. The KORIBOR rates serve as important benchmarks for various financial products and influence monetary policies. The unchanged rates reflect the current economic conditions and monetary policy stance in Korea.
