Seoul: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained stable across most key tenors, as reported by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, at 11:00 a.m. today. Financial markets observed no change in the rates for the 1-week, 1-month, 2-month, 3-month, and 12-month tenors, with only a slight change noted in the 6-month tenor.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the 1-week KORIBOR stood at 2.50%, consistent with the previous session. Similarly, the 1-month and 2-month rates were both recorded at 2.51%, showing no variation from the prior session's figures. The 3-month tenor also maintained its rate at 2.53%.
The only change was observed in the 6-month KORIBOR, which experienced a marginal decline from 2.52% in the previous session to 2.51%. The 12-month rate remained steady at 2.51%, indicating stability in the longer-term financial market expectations.
These figures reflect the current market conditions and interbank lending rates in South Korea, providing insights into the nation's financial landscape. The stability observed in these rates suggests a consistent trend in the short to medium-term financial outlook.
