Seoul: The KOSPI 200 experienced a day of mixed results as several key stocks fluctuated in trading. Some companies saw significant gains, while others faced notable losses, reflecting varied investor sentiments and market conditions.
According to Yonhap News Agency, ORION Holdings closed at 20,050, marking a decrease of 350. Conversely, TCC STEEL saw an increase, closing at 20,300, up by 100. LotteChilsung also observed an upward movement, closing at 123,500 with a rise of 200. AMOREPACIFIC Holdings experienced an uptick, closing at 28,000, up by 350.
HyundaiMtr surged to 217,500, a significant increase of 1,500. Meanwhile, SeAH Steel Holdings also had a remarkable gain, closing at 199,000, an increase of 10,700. TaekwangInd rose to 939,000, up by 13,000. In contrast, SBHC fell to 27,950, down by 450, and Daewoong decreased slightly, closing at 22,450, down by 50.
TaihanElecWire showed improvement, closing at 16,800, up by 100, while Hyundai M and F INS surged to 27,800, an increase of 1,650. KAL dropped to 24,900, down by 250, and LG Corp. saw an increase, closing at 74,700, up by 100. POSCO FUTURE M rose to 163,200, up by 4,300.
Further losses were noted for LOTTE Fine Chem, closing at 41,500, down by 500, and HYUNDAI STEEL, which fell to 33,000, down by 500. SGBC experienced a decline, closing at 64,300, down by 1,600. However, COSMOCHEM showed a significant rise, closing at 19,160, up by 1,770.
SK Innovation closed at 109,100, up by 2,700, while DB INSURANCE saw an increase, closing at 128,900, up by 1,000. On the downside, SamsungElec decreased to 71,600, down by 300, and NHIS fell to 19,340, down by 160. GS Retail also saw a decline, closing at 16,640, down by 160.
LG H and H rose significantly to 305,500, up by 9,000, and Nongshim increased to 381,000, up by 5,000. OTOKI dropped to 390,500, down by 1,500, while DN AUTOMOTIVE fell to 24,850, down by 700. Overall, the KOSPI 200 reflected a day of diverse movements in stock prices, showcasing the dynamic nature of the market.
