Seoul: The KOSPI 200 witnessed a mixed performance as it closed with notable fluctuations in its stock prices. Several companies experienced declines, while a few managed to achieve marginal gains.
According to Yonhap News Agency, HanmiPharm saw a significant drop, closing at 445,500, down by 11,000. Similarly, LS ELECTRIC experienced a sharp fall, ending at 441,000, which was a decrease of 65,000. HD HYUNDAI MIPO and HDKSOE also faced downturns, closing at 223,000 and 420,000, respectively, marking declines of 9,500 and 13,500.
On the other hand, some companies managed to record gains despite the overall downward trend. Youngone Corp and Korea Zinc rose, with their prices reaching 88,100 and 1,128,000, an increase of 3,000 and 3,000, respectively. KT and Samsung Card also saw increments, ending at 49,900 and 53,600, both up by 600.
Additionally, KOLMAR KOREA and Hanssem reported increases, closing at 67,200 and 44,850, reflecting rises of 1,000 and 100, respectively. Despite these gains, the broader market sentiment remained cautious with significant declines observed in other major stocks.
