Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a mixed performance as numerous companies recorded both gains and declines in their stock prices. Among the notable changes, Yuhan's stock closed at 102,000, marking a decrease of 700.
According to Yonhap News Agency, SLCORP experienced a notable increase, with its stock price rising by 1,050 to close at 33,400. CJ LOGISTICS also saw an upward movement, closing at 89,200 with an increase of 300. HITEJINRO's stock price rose by 100, reaching 20,500, while SGBC experienced an 800 increase, closing at 69,700.
In contrast, HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES saw a significant drop, with its stock decreasing by 26,500 to 437,000. Similarly, LS recorded a decline, closing at 181,500, down by 3,300. COSMOCHEM's stock also fell by 240, closing at 15,690.
Several other companies showed positive trends, including POSCO Holdings, which increased by 6,500 to reach 269,500. SamsungElec's shares rose by 800, closing at 61,300, and YoungoneHoldings gained 1,800, ending the day at 133,000. Hyundai Heavy Industries, however, faced a decrease of 28,000, closing at 364,000, while KorZinc fell by 29,000 to 790,000.
The fluctuations in closing prices reflect the dynamic nature of the stock market, with various companies experiencing different levels of gains and losses.
