Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a varied trading session with several companies experiencing gains while others saw declines in their stock prices. Among the notable gainers, KIH saw a significant rise, closing at 123,000, up by 4,500. Similarly, DOOSAN ended the session at 585,000, marking an increase of 4,000.
According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies such as HYUNDAI ROTEM and HANMISemi also showed upward trends. HYUNDAI ROTEM's stock increased by 2,600, closing at 170,900, while HANMISemi went up by 2,900, reaching 85,800. Meanwhile, LGCHEM recorded an increase of 2,000, closing at 208,500.
On the downside, LIG Nex1 experienced a notable decline, falling by 7,000 to close at 451,500. KBFinancialGroup's stock decreased by 3,700, ending the day at 107,200. Similarly, ShinhanGroup witnessed a drop of 1,100, closing at 59,800.
Overall, the session reflected a mixture of gains and losses across various sectors, with stock performances varying significantly among different companies.
